Smaller Projects
Below is a range of our previous smaller projects to give you an idea of some of the things we have done, as well as potentially provide inspiration.
These smaller projects are often about solving a very specific problem for people, whether it's providing great storage solutions, or fixing small wear and tear items.
If further information is needed, we can provide references, site visits and far more comprehensive photos of the builds below including pictures during the building process.

Under Stairs Storage
Lots of customers are looking to get the most out of their homes these days and under stairs storage solutions are one of the best ways to maximise space usage. This customer wanted an area mainly to store coats and shoes near the front door, but without taking any floor space.
We fabricated, painted and installed these completely custom units which fit under these particular stairs.
Some standout features are the soft close ball bearing drawer runners, rated to hold 80 kilograms, and the pullout coat hanger to allow usage of the full depth of the stairs.
Small Brick Step
This client had taken to regularly using some French doors on the side of their property to to access the garden, and thus wanted a step to decrease the effort both for them, but mainly for their young child.
A strong concrete base was first poured, then two courses of brick were laid to create the step.
The clients are both keen environmentalists, so to that end they sourced some local reclaimed bricks with which to build the step, which has resulted in a wonderful rustic look with brooks of a non-traditional size.

Scaffold Board Shelves
The client for this project has recently had two children and noticed their floor space was ever decreasing, due to the rapid influx of toys.
Their solution was to request these shelves be installed in the living room, to give them much more storage space.
Old scaffolding boards were selected for their rustic look, which we thoroughly sanded to remove any dirt or unpleasant areas, then cut precisely to fit between the wall and chimney breast.

Open Pergola
The client wanted to create a nice area to sit during the Summer, so the first step was erecting the framework of this Pergola.
Later on we added a roof and some half height walls to better define and enclose the space, but this first step allowed the client to get a feel for what they would like.

Chimney Repointing
This smaller project was simply to repoint a chimney was was in need of repair. The chimney allowing water into the loft and leaving it for longer would eventually have resulted in the chimney falling apart gradually, or catastrophically.
We worked with our trusted scaffold company to erect a safe working area, then we came in for the day to remove the old pointing and redo the joints.
